huge continent and in many countries

With a huge continent and in many countries, South America has much to offer the visitor. It is a diverse and beautiful part of the world. It is difficult to decide where to start. Perhaps it is best to start with the cities.

Buenos Aires, Argentina has much to offer. It has an appearance not unlike Paris in the '20s. The European architecture has much to do with that image. There are wide avenues lined by trees, cafes and tango shows great night.

Rio de Janeiro in Brazil can certainly not be ignored. With its beautiful nature such as Corcovado Mountain, Sugar Loaf and Tijuca Forest, sometimes it feels like you are not even in a city. Take the cog railway up Corcovado Mountain to the huge statue of Christ the Redeemer Rio looked over to see. Copacabana, Ipanema and other beaches are big and beautiful. See samba shows at night for color and excitement.

Visit Santiago, Chile and visit the Wine Aconcagua Valley countryside for wine tasting and delicious. The Aconcagua, the highest peak in the western hemisphere, one can see from here.

Unlike the cities, there are some trips that should not miss while traveling South America. The most famous sight, Machu Picchu in Peru. The trail starts in Cusco can be walked all the way to this archaeological wonder. Mountains, cloud forests and rivers are just some of the things to enjoy along the road.

Another nice trip, the crossing of the lakes near Bariloche in Patagonia, southern Argentina. The boat begins to travel to Bariloche and Puerto Montt in Chile. The Andes mountains, volcanoes and waterfalls on this landscape will be two days away.

Coffee plantations of Columbia and Venezuela, the southern tip of South America, and everything in between, there is beauty and much to do and see.
